Covid-19: Relief measures from 5 April 2022

In view of the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic and the decisions of the Confederation on 1 April 2022, as well as the update of the measures for health care institutions by the Cantonal Unit of Hygiene, Prevention and Infection Control (HPCi), we inform you of the changes in measures valid from 5 April 2022.

Thus, the wearing of a surgical mask is compulsory from the moment of entry into the clinic (cloth masks are not allowed), for patients in the common areas and corridors, but also for visitors, during the entire duration of their visit, including in the presence of the patient and/or the carers.

Visitors must come with their own surgical mask and no mask will be provided by the clinic. Without the mask, entry into the clinic will not be possible.

Similarly, it is important that good hand hygiene is ensured from the moment of entry (a dispenser of hydro-alcoholic solution is available at the entrance to the clinic).

There is no longer a limit on the number of visitors during the allotted hours (11:00 am to 8:00 pm). However, it is essential to ensure that the distances in the rooms are respected by the visitors. Thus, for visits to the rooms, we limit the number of visitors to 2 persons at the same time. Please note that for patients in double room, visitors must be seen outside the room (floor lounge).

At the entrance of the clinic, we remind you that the barrier gestures must continue to be respected.

We thank you in advance for respecting these new rules and remain at your disposal in case of questions at +41 (0)22 436 36 36.

Thank you for your understanding.

The Management of the Bois-Bougy Clinic.

Normal visiting hours are between 11am and 8pm. Please respect these times for the benefit of patients’ treatment and rest.

If you would like to share lunch or dinner with a family member or friend, simply inform reception the day before.

Commited to your care

In addition to the medical care we provide, our teams ensure that our values remain uppermost at all times:

  • respect for patient well-being is at the heart of everything we do
  • all treatment is founded on a partnership between patient and practitioner
  • we make families and loved ones feel welcome
  • we respect individual beliefs and cultures
  • our teams are informed on and respect patient rights

Hotel Quality

Each of our bright and sunny single or double rooms is ergonomically planned and furnished in a contemporary style.

Each room has a private bathroom, direct telephone line, flat-screen television and wifi.

Our housekeeper ensures that patients enjoy a high standard of accommodation throughout their stay.

Take a virtual tour of our private and double rooms in the image on the left.

Meals are prepared in our kitchens, by our own kitchen staff, under the supervision of a chef and our dietitian. We take pride in serving varied, nutritionally balanced menus which are compliant with patients’ dietary and medical requirements, in the pleasant surroundings of our restaurant. In certain cases, if their condition allows, patients can take their meals in their room.

Quality certification

Clinique Bois-Bougy was awarded ISO 9001 certification in July 2014. This was renewed in December 2017. This reflects the clinic’s high standard of service, as well as the constant dedication of management and medical personnel to providing excellence at every level.

The clinic is set in ten acres of landscaped grounds, with two large decked areas for patients and visitors to enjoy. The gardens are also used for physical therapy, walking groups and for balance exercises. These activities play an important role in preparing patients for their return home, as they recreate the type of environment they will encounter in daily life.

Well-being and leasure

For patients’ comfort and convenience, the clinic also provides:

  • a hairdressing service and beauty treatments
  • a kiosk selling confectionery, magazines and personal hygiene products
  • books and board games (these can be borrowed from reception)
  • pleasant lounges and outdoor areas for sitting with visitors
  • a Nespresso machine and snack menu for patients and visitors
